How do you open DrKids vials ?

Here is a step-by-step guide on what to do :

What are the benefits of a single-use vial?

DrKids innovative packaging heads the current trend in safety. Our vials reduce overdose risks by guaranteeing exact and premeasured doses as well as restricting unauthorized users full bottle access to potentially toxic and hazardous substances.

There are several benefits to using our vials that traditional brands do not have. Our single-use vials provide additional benefits to treating your child such as it being hygienic, a pre-measured dose, convenient, easy to use (only 3 steps!), travel friendly, sterile and clean.

What color is DrKids medication?

DrKids does not add any dyes or colorants to our medications. The color of DrKids will be a clear or slightly opaque color.

Is the flavor natural vs artificial?

DrKids Children's Pain & Fever oral solution contains a cherry flavor. This flavor is a blend of natural and artificial flavors.

DrKids Children's Allergy Relief and DrKids Multi-Symptom Cold & Flu and Multi-Symptom Cold & Flu Night-Time contains a mixed berry flavor. This is an artificial flavor.

Is DrKids Vegan/Vegetarian?

Despite the ingredients used, we are not processed with any animal products, by-products, or animal-derived products, we cannot substantiate a vegan or vegetarian claim.

DrKids uses the highest quality raw materials which have been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and qualified by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). Your child’s health is our main focus, which is why DrKids products are free of unwanted ingredients.

Is DrKids Kosher?

While most of our raw material vendors are certified Kosher, DrKids product’s manufacturing site is not a certified Kosher location.

Is DrKids Allergen Free?

DrKids products are not tested with respect to allergens which require labeling by the US Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA) of 2004. As to the actual knowledge of our production process, raw materials, and equipment used, we do not expect any mentioned allergens and have no indication for any of these allergens contained in the product.

Is DrKids Sugar Free?

DrKids is indeed free from sugar, along with being free from dies, parabens and alcohol.

Is DrKids Dye/Paraben Free?

DrKids is indeed free from dyes and parabens along with being free from sugar and alcohol.

Is DrKids Alcohol Free?

DrKids is indeed free from alcohol along with being free from sugar, dyes and parabens.

How do you store DrKids?

DrKids can be left at room temperature- no refrigeration is needed. It is best to keep out of reach of children in a cupboard or medicine cabinet. Optimum storage conditions would be out of direct sunlight, between 20-25C (68-77F).

Can I mix DrKids dose with juice/beverage?

While intended to be taken ‘straight’, we understand your little one may not like the taste of DrKids. That being said, it is perfectly fine to add the dose to a couple ounces of juice or other beverage to alter the taste. Just be sure your child takes the entire dose with the added liquid to ensure maximum efficacy.

Where can I buy DrKids Products?

Currently, we only sell online on our website, Walmart.com and Amazon.com.

What is the correct dosage for DrKids Allergy Relief?

Our Allergy Relief comes with a total of 20 single-use vials. While experiencing symptoms, we suggest a child 6-11 years old use 1-2 vials (5ml each) every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 12 vials within a 24-hour period. Do not give to a child under 6 years of age unless advised by your child’s doctor.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away (1-800-222-1222).

Is DrKids Allergy non-drowsy?

The active ingredient in DrKids Allergy relief, diphenhydramine HCL, does indeed have a sedative effect nd can cause drowsiness. Therefore, we indicate on our packaging that marked drowsiness may occur when using. Do not use DrKids Allergy Relief to make a child sleepy.

What are the ingredients of DrKids Allergy Relief?

DrKids Allergy Relief has the active ingredient diphenhydramine - an antihistamine that gives relief to nasal congestion, sneezing, or hives caused by pollen, dust, or animal allergies. DrKids uses the highest quality raw materials which have been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and qualified by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). Your child’s health is our main focus which is why DrKids products are free of unwanted ingredients such as sugar, dyes and alcohol. Our inactive ingredients are citric acid, glycerin, mixed berry flavor, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium benzoate, sorbitol, strawberry flavor, strawberry flavor, sucralose, tri-sodium citrate and xanthan gum.

What is the age range for DrKids Allergy Relief?

Our Children’s Allergy Relief is geared toward children ages 6-11 based on our dosage amounts and vials. We do not have the recommended pre-measured doses for those outside this age range, so we only recommend dosing to those in this range. Please speak with your doctor before using if you are outside of this age range.

Can I use DrKids Allergy Relief on my pets?

While diphenhydramine is generally safe for pets, we recommend speaking with your veterinarian first before administering DrKids Allergy Relief to your pet to ensure none of the inactive ingredients are unsafe for your furry friend.

What symptoms does DrKids Allergy Relief alleviate?

DrKids fast-acting formula has the same active ingredient as Benadryl® and fights over 200 Allergens is the go-to remedy for parents. DrKids Allergy Relief medication is recommended for symptoms of indoor and outdoor allergies including itchy nose and throat, itchiness, watery eyes, runny nose, and sneezing.

The active ingredient to address these symptoms is diphenhydramine which is an antihistamine, so it is not uncommon for your child to feel drowsy after taking. For any additional symptoms, please contact your child’s doctor or pharmacist for further instruction on what would be best for your child.

What are the possible side effects of DrKids Allergy Relief?

Some possible known side effects of our Allergy Relief are dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, nose or throat, constipation, upset stomach, dry eyes, blurred vision, and excitability (especially in children).

Our Allergy Relief is made with diphenhydramine is an antihistamine which will reduce the natural chemical histamine in the body and could make your child feel sleepy. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.

Please get emergency medical help if your child has any of the following signs of an allergic reaction to diphenhydramine: hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Please stop use and call your child’s doctor if your child has: pounding heartbeats or fluttering in their chest, painful or difficulty urinating, little or no urinating, confusion or feeling like they might pass out, or tightness in their neck or jaw, or uncontrolled movements of their tongue.

What age is DrKids Pain & Fever for?

Our Children’s Pain & Fever is geared toward children ages 2+ based on our dosage amounts and vials. Please speak with your doctor before using if your child is under 2 years of age to see what is best.

Can I give DrKids to my infant?

For infants under 2 years of age, we recommend talking to your child’s pediatrician before administering DrKids to your LO. We are unable to provide any medical advice outside the FDA’s recommendations.

Does DrKids Pain & Fever contain Ibuprofen/aspirin/Motrin (NSAID)?

The active ingredient in DrKids Pain and Fever is acetaminophen which is an analgesic (pain reliever) and fever reducer (antipyretic).

There is no NSAID in DrKids Pain and Fever (i.e. ibuprofen, Motrin or aspirin). NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) work to relieve inflammation and swelling.

Is DrKids Pain & Fever non-drowsy?

There are no active or inactive ingredients in DrKids Pain and Fever that will cause drowsiness. It is possible that your LO may fall asleep after a dose of DrKids Pain and Fever purely because the body may be naturally tired from illness, and with relief finally achieved, are able to drift into sleep naturally.

What is the dosage for DrKids Pain & Fever?

Our Pain and Fever comes with a total of 20 single-use vials. While experiencing symptoms, we suggest a child 24-35 pounds, use 1 vial (5ml each) every 4 hours. Do not exceed 5 vials within a 24-hour period. Do not give to a child under 24 pounds unless advised by your child’s doctor. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away (1-800-222-1222).

What are the ingredients in DrKids Pain & Fever?

DrKids Child’s Pain & Fever has the active ingredient of acetaminophen which is used to treat mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches, or cold and flu pains and to reduce fever.

DrKids uses the highest quality Raw Materials which have been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and qualified by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). Your child’s health is our main focus which is why DrKids products are free of unwanted ingredients such as sugar, dyes and alcohol. Additionally, there is no NSAID (such as aspirin or ibuprofen) in DrKids Pain and Fever.

Inactive ingredients are citric acid, cherry flavor, edetate disodium, glycerin, maltitol, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium benzoate, sodium metabisulfite, sorbitol, sucralose, trisodium citrate dihydrate and xanthan gum.

What symptoms does DrKids Pain & Fever alleviate?

Our Children’s Pain & Fever will help with many symptoms due to the common cold, flu, headache, sore throat, muscle aches, and toothaches.

The active ingredient to address these symptoms is acetaminophen which acts as a pain reliever and fever reducer.

For any additional symptoms, please contact your child’s doctor or pharmacist for further instruction on what would be best for your child.

What’s the difference between acetaminophen and paracetamol?

Acetaminophen and paracetamol are the exact same chemical compound. The only difference is the name in which it’s called, and this will depend on the region or country one resides in.

How long can you use DrKids Pain & Fever for?

Please stop use immediately and ask a doctor about your symptoms if your child’s pain gets worse or lasts more than 5 days, their fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days, a new symptom occurs, or redness or swelling is present for these could be signs of serious conditions.This drug usually has no side effects. If your child has unusual effects, contact your child’s doctor or pharmacist immediately.

The following are symptoms of overdose of acetaminophen: nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, sweating, stomach or abdominal pain, extreme tiredness, yellowing of the eyes and skin, and dark urine.
